Kawika Burgess is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Commercial Finance.

Kawika previously served as the Land Asset and Operations Manager for Kamehameha Schools, Hawaii’s largest private landowner. He was the Chief Operating Officer of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, a $600 M trust and 13th largest landowner in Hawaii overseeing a real estate portfolio of over 26,000 acres. He founded, built, and sold the award winning Honolulu office of Real Property Management, the largest property management franchise in the United States. Kawika was also the President and CEO of Hawaii Land Trust, Hawaii’s largest local land trust overseeing 18,000 acres of lands and conservation easements in Hawaii and served as President and CEO of Kalona Brand Company, a start-up regenerative and vertically integrated agriculture and food company.

As an experienced entrepreneur and real estate investor, Kawika experienced first hand how difficult it is for entrepreneurs and real estate investors to navigate the world of commercial financing and to gain access to capital. He founded Alliance Commercial Finance to assist other entrepreneurs, business owners, and real estate investors to navigate that path and obtain the appropriate type of financing that they need to start, build, and grow their enterprises and real estate portfolios.

Sanoe Burgess is the Business Development and Marketing Offer at Alliance Commercial Finance.

Sanoe earned her Master’s Degree in Communicology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and previously served as a Lecturer in Communicology and Women’s Water Polo Team Manager at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She served as Team Leader at Kupu and completed internships at Hauoli Mau Loa Foundation and Kamehameha Schools. Sanoe has been a lifelong entrepreneur and is passionate about assisting other entrepreneurs in understanding the financing opportunities available for small businesses.
